The Commission on Higher Education Student Financial Assistance Programs (StuFAPs) are intended for students to establish and maintain a system of scholarship grants, student loan programs, subsidies, and other incentives which will be available to deserving students in both public and private institutions, especially the underprivileged. The below are some of the financial assistance opportunities available to students at both public and private colleges through CHED.

Tulong Dunong Program (TDP)

The Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) is created for fourth-year students who have a general weighted average of at least 80% in the first three grading periods. Persons with disabilities (PWDs), solo parents and their dependents, members of cultural minorities, members of the Hili tribe, and senior citizens are all eligible for this scholarship program. Every school year, scholars are entitled to Php 15,000 in financial assistance.

Full and Half Merit Scholarships

CHED offers two scholarship programs: the Full and Half Merit Scholarships programs under the Student Financial Assistance Programs (StuFAPs). The Full and Half Merit Scholarship Program is a State Scholarship Program for graduating high school students who have a general weighted average of at least 90% or its equivalent and must enroll in any recognized priority programs at private HEIs, State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), or Local Universities and Colleges with COPCs.

Study Now Pay Later Program (SNPLP)

The CHED Study Now Pay Later Program is an educational loan intended to provide financial assistance to eligible students who are enrolled or to are enrolled in private HEIs.

UniFAST

Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES)

The Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) is intended for students who are part of families included in the Listahanan 2.0, ranked according to the estimated per capital household income based on submitted documentation of proof of income to be decided by the UniFAST Board. Allowances for books and other expenses, tuition, and other fees are among the financial benefits of this scholarship program.

Cash Grant to Medical Students Enrolled in State Universities and Colleges (GCMS-SUCs)

The Cash Grant to Medical Students Enrolled in State Universities and Colleges (GCMS-SUCs) program was created to provide tuition fee to medical students enrolled in any of the eight (listed State Universities and Colleges) (SUCs). Also, the student-grantee is eligible to a tuition fee subsidy of ONE HUNDRED PERCENT (100%) based on the actual tuition fee of their respective SUCs. The beneficiary, however, may only use one government-funded financial assistance program for tuition fees.
