CHED ACEF-GIAHEP Scholarship 2024-2025 | Open to Apply
The CHED ACEF-GIAHEP Scholarship program for the school year 2024-2025 is now open to apply for all aspiring college students in the Philippines. CHED ACEF-GIAHEP Scholarship is one of the many scholarship programs offered by CHED.

CHED ACEF-GIAHEP Scholarship 2024
The CHED means Commission on Higher Education in the Philippines and ACEF-GIAHEP Scholarship means Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund – Grants-In-Aid for Higher Education Program for college students. CHED is responsible for promoting higher education in the Philippines. In an effort to educate every student in the Philippines, CHED initiates various scholarship programs.
Recently, CHED has announced the opening of Online Application for CHED ACEF-GIAHEP Scholarship program for the school year 2024-2025 via a Facebook post. This scholarship program will provide scholarship grants to eligible and deserving college students who enroll in recognized priority courses of PHEIs or authorized programs of SUCs / LUCs.
Scholarship Benefits
Following is the list of scholarship benefits a CHED scholar will receive under this program
Benefits for Private HEIs Students
a) Total Scholarship Benefits per semester – ₱30,000.00
- Tuition and Other School Fees (TOSF) – ₱10,000.00
- Stipend – ₱17,500.00
- Book Allowance – ₱2,500.00
b) Total Scholarship Benefits per Academic year – ₱60,000.00
- Tuition and Other School Fees (TOSF) – ₱20,000.00
- Stipend – ₱35,000.00
- Book Allowance – ₱5,000.00
Benefits for SUCs / LUCs
a) Total Scholarship Benefits per semester – ₱20,000.00
- Tuition and Other School Fees (TOSF) – FREE
- Stipend – ₱17,500.00
- Book Allowance – ₱2,500.00
b) Total Scholarship Benefits per Academic year – ₱40,000.00
- Tuition and Other School Fees (TOSF) – FREE
- Stipend – ₱35,000.00
- Book Allowance – ₱5,000.00

Qualifications for CHED ACEF-GIAHEP Scholarship
To be eligible to apply for the CHED ACEF-GIAHEP Scholarship, a college student must meet the qualifications given below:
- The applicant must be a Filipino citizen;
- He or She must be Graduating High School student, High School graduate; or with earned college academic units relevant to the identified degree programs;
- Candidate must enroll or be currently enrolled in any recognized programs of PHEIs or authorized programs of SUCs / LUCs;
- The combined Annual Gross Income of Parents or Guardian shall not exceed Four Hundred Thousand Pesos (₱400,000.0);
- Preferably dependent of registered farmers and/or fisherfolks in Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA) and other registry systems;
- Must not be convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude; and
- The student must not be a beneficiary of any government funded student financial assistance program.

CHED Priority Programs
College students who are looking to apply for CHED Scholarship must enroll or be already enrolled in any CHED recognized priority courses to be eligible for the scholarship.
Following is the list of priority courses eligible for CHED ACEF-GIAHEP Scholarship:
- Agriculture
- Forestry
- Fisheries
- Veterinary Medicine
- Agricultural Education
- Related Agricultural Education Programs
Documentary Requirements
The list of documents required to apply for this scholarship is as follows:
- A Certified true copy of Birth Certificate (PSA)
- Academic Requirements:
- Form 138 – for Senior high school graduates;
- A duly certified true copy of grades for Grade 11 and 1st semester of Grade 12 – for graduating Senior high school students; and
- A duly certified copy of grades for the latest semester/term attended – for applicants with earned units in college.
- Proof of income of Parents/Guardian:Â ANY of the following
- Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) if employed;
- Certificate of Tax Exemption from the BIR;
- Certificate of No Income from BIR: or
- Certificate / Case Study Report from City / Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (C/MSWD).
- Proof that the student applicant belonged to special group/s (Solo parent, IP, PWD, etc.) – if applicable.
Online Application Timeline
The opening date of online application for the CHED ACEF-GIAHEP Scholarship is  July 1, 2024.
The deadline date to apply for CHED ACEF-GIAHEP Scholarship is August 15, 2024.
