What is SM College Scholarship?
The SM College Scholarship is a two-decade program that strongly believes that once a family member graduates from college, he or she may now help his or her siblings in attending school in order to help and move their families out of poverty.
For over two decades, the SM Foundation has provided college scholarship programs. The SM College Scholarship believes that education is the solution to poverty. This scholarship program helps students to unlock their potential and achieve their goals.
What are the benefits of the scholarship?
If you are selected for SM Scholarship, you will receive the following benefits:
- Full Tuition
- Monthly Allowance
- Choice of specialization in accounting, information technology, engineering, and education
- Part-time job opportunities during semestral and Christmas break
- Exclusive job offers with the SM group upon graduation.
- Other fun-filled activities and enrichment programs.
What are the Qualifications?
Before applying, interested applicants shall make sure they qualify through its criteria of qualifications:
- Grade 12 graduates from public and private schools in the areas covered. Applicants from private schools must have a DepEd voucher and must be Grade 10 finishers from public high schools.
- Has a general weighted average grade of at least 92% or its equivalent for Grade 12 – 1st semester.
- Has an annual total household income of P150,000 or less.
What are the Requirements?
Applicants have to submit their accomplished online application form with the following attachments:
- Birth Certificate
- Latest Grade 12 report card
- Two (2) copies of recent 2×2 ID pictures; and
- Sketch of residence to the nearest SM Mall.
- Latest Income Tax Returns of parent/s or guardian/Certificate of Non-Filing of Income/Certificate of Indigency;
