Are you eligible?
You need to meet all of the following:
- Incoming first-year college student or a continuing college student (limited slots only, check with your school’s scholarship office)
- GWA of at least 93% or its equivalent
- No subject grade below 86% or its equivalent
- Grades of 90% and above in high school subjects (Grade 7–12) aligned to your college course
- Not a child of a Security Bank employee
- No family member within the second degree of consanguinity or affinity currently admitted to the scholarship
- No existing scholarship from other grantors (school discounts don’t count)
You are NOT eligible if:
- You already hold a scholarship from another organization
- You are shifting to or enrolled in a course not on the eligible list
- You are transferring to a school outside the 8 partner universities
- You stopped schooling for more than one academic year

If you’re still waiting for admission results from multiple schools, submit your application using your first-choice school’s proof of application. You’ll have a chance to update your school choice later if you qualify for the interview round.

For the initial application:
- Duly accomplished Online Application Form
- High School Grade 7–12 Transcript of Records with GWA (Grade 12 grades up to December 2025 are accepted if your final 2026 grades aren’t out yet)
- Proof of income any ONE of the following:
- Latest ITR of parent or guardian (for employed)
- Certificate of Indigency (for unemployed)
- Copy of OFW employment contract with indicated salary
- Proof of admission or acceptance letter from any of the 8 partner schools
- PSA Birth Certificate
- Portrait photo (2×2, white background, high resolution formal attire not required but look presentable)
If you qualify and get admitted:
- Certificate of Enrollment or Registration Card for AY 2026–2027
- Copy of school calendar for AY 2026–2027
- Copy of school grading system (if your school doesn’t use percentage-based grading)
- Copy of your course or program curriculum
- Copy of parent or guardian’s government-issued ID (for notarization)
How to Apply for Security Bank Scholarship 2026

Step 1: Fill out the online application form
Apply through the official Google Form: https://forms.gle/gPRiiuBcuqSbfjhe7. When asked about Tertiary Education Information, input the course you’re planning to take and the school you’ll enroll in. For expected year of graduation, count 4 years from the current year.
Step 2: Upload your documents
Make sure all documents are complete before submitting. Incomplete applications are not processed and you’ll need both parents’ proof of income for OFW families (not just one parent).
Step 3: Wait for the Foundation’s response
Within one month after your school’s application deadline, Security Bank Foundation will contact you by mobile call and email to let you know if you qualify for the next round. Make sure your contact details are active and correct.
Step 4: Online interview
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an online or in-person interview. At this stage, you’ll also be asked to submit your full high school Transcript of Records.
Step 5: Sign the scholarship contract
Newly admitted scholars along with a parent or guardian will sign a scholarship contract to officially confirm their admission.
Scholarship renewal what’s required every semester
Being admitted is just the beginning. Scholars must renew every school term by submitting:
- Online Renewal Form
- Updated grading system from your school
- Certificate of Enrollment or Registration Form for the next term
- Report Card or TOR showing your GWA for the previous term
- Assessment of fees
- Reconsideration Letter (only if you failed to meet the per-subject grade requirement)

Grounds for termination
Your scholarship can be cancelled if you:
- Miss the renewal deadline
- Shift to a non-eligible course
- Fail to meet the required GWA
- Defer enrollment for a school year (health reasons are the only exception)
- Receive a failing, incomplete, or dropped grade in any subject academic or non-academic
- Violate school policies
- Transfer to a non-partner school
- Accept another scholarship
